The Governor signed the bill forgiving snow days that were also "declared emergency days" this past winter. Therefore, Perry Public Schools will revert to the original calendar calling for no school on Th 5/24, Mon. 5/27 and the last day of school is, once again Th 6/6. The last day is a half day for students.
I am pleased to announce my replacement has been selected. Dr. Lori Haven, currently at Dewitt Public Schools as their Curriculum Director, was selected by the Perry Board of Education to be your next superintendent as of July 1, 2019.
There will be opportunities between now and July 1st for people to meet Dr. Haven and welcome her to Perry.
