In Spring 2019, The PSAT 8/9 replaced the Reading and Math portions of the MStep for all Michigan 8th grade students.
The SAT is given to all high school juniors in Michigan. The PSAT 9/8 is an excellent tool for us to be able to help students get ready for the SAT. According to College Board, the developer of the SAT:
“The PSAT 8/9 is a test that will help you and your teachers figure out what you need to work on most so that you’re ready for college when you graduate from high school. It tests the same skills and knowledge as the SAT, PSAT/NMSQT, and PSAT 10 — in a way that makes sense for your grade level.”
