The Michigan Student Test of Educational Progress (M-STEP) is administered to all 3rd-8th and 11th grade students in the spring. This test is fully online and assesses students in the areas of English Language Arts and Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. At the upper elementary, 3rd, 4th and 6th grade students take ELA and Math assessments; 5th grade students take the ELA, Math, Science and Social Studies assessments.

Prior to the testing window, we have students practice with the online test tools and practice sample questions from the M-Step website. Parents are welcome to check out the sample questions from the MStep here. Click on the grade level, then subject area. Log-in using the login information provided on screen, then follow the on screen instructions.
