NUMATS

REGISTERING FOR THE SAT

NUMATS is a program which allows students sixth through eighth grade to take the SAT. Students who take the SAT in eighth grade and perform well, are invited by the Shiawassee RESD to become Shiawassee Scholars. The Shiawassee Scholars program recognizes academically talented students early and seeks to encourage these students to continue to pursue academically challenging activities during their high school years. Registration for the SAT begins each year in September with an early January deadline.  You can register online at http://www.ctd.northwestern.edu/program/numats. Before you begin the registration process, you will need the Perry Middle School ID code, the Owosso Middle School test site code, and the score reports code, which are available at the middle school office, or you can fill out simple form to request them here. There is a county-wide parent meeting each October at the Baker College Welcome Center, which will provide you with much more information on the NUMATS program and the SAT.
